Our Mission
The Montana~Havana Bridge Project is a collaborative, intercultural arts endeavor between professional musicians in Montana and Cuba with the shared vision of composing, recording, publishing and performing new American-Cuban music in Montana and Cuba.
Empresa de Musica -Santiago
With the support of Santiago’s Cultural leaders and Gallo Studio, we have access to many of Cuba’s most talented musicians and the proper administrative channels to make these collaborative recordings and performances possible.
Our Goals
1. To compose and record a collection of published cross-cultural recordings that will showcase the talents of Montana and Cuban musicians and composers.
2. To showcase the diverse professional musical talent available in our respective communities, and through both travel and technology, our ability to collaborate, create and perform a new American-Cuban genre we call ‘Musica Cubusa’!
3. To create music that celebrates the extensive friendship between our two nations and our shared goal of climate change awareness.
4. To perform this music on an international stage with Montana and Cuban musicians to audiences in our respective countries and beyond.
5. To promote the societal benefits of intercultural collaborations that celebrates diversity, inclusivity and power of bridge building between nations through music.
